Finally, someone
has put together the exercises Edgar Cayce often recommended for health,
energy, and balancing the bodies forces, into an easy to learn &
follow along with video format.
While you can
find the instructions in the readings themselves, trying to interpret
them is another matter. And I emphasize "trying". The
"Cayce Yoga" video makes it so much easier, actually SHOWING you
exactly how to do them.
They were taught
to the video makers by an ARE clinic Osteopathic doctor, to insure
accuracy and effectiveness.
Now these are
very interesting and unique exercises, in that they seem so simple, yet
are so effective. They're kind of like a cross between easy basic Hatha
Yoga stretching, and what are now called "office worker" calisthenics.
Far easier to do
than traditional yoga, especially for seniors (most can even be done in
a chair), they include things many of us know but don't do, like neck
rolls, toe touching, etc., but also include not commonly known unique
methods like 4 point neck bends, waist bends and rolls, etc.
They're meant to
be done twice a day, in the morning and evening, and in typical Edgar
Cayce "Zen-like" style, he has you reverse the order of the
exercises, depending on whether it's morning or evening.
The "Cayce
Yoga" video is short and to the point (about 20 minutes - they'll
take about 10 minutes to do after you learn them), beautifully filmed
and cordially presented (Anne Aniston demonstrates and narrates, doing
them on the beach in Maui). Plus they're simply and patiently explained
while still being detailed, and true to the readings..
They've just been
completed, but we talked to the publishers and the tapes will soon be
all over as distributor orders are pouring in, and they're also
developing their own website.
But for now you
can get them only at a few places, including the All
Edgar Cayce site
(the same one that sells the totally new complete readings CD Rom). They're offering a 50% off introductory offer.
Instead of the regular $29.95, you can get it for only $14.95. Go get 'um, and don't forget to get some for
gifts. Even grandma and grandpa can do these and probably stay
healthier. Of course, anyone using them should always check with an MD
first. |
