The
question of the origin of the name of Jon Peniel aside, fans of Edgar
Cayce will find plenty to interest them in this book. His readings are
full of references to the "Children of the Law of One" and the
"Sons of Belial," and his description of the first waves of
souls to enter the earth's plane are remarkably similar (one might even
say identical) to that found in the book under discussion here. Even the
prior lives for Jesus Christ mentioned by Cayce agree with those given
by John Peniel. And his descriptions of the Atlantean followers of the
law of One's attempts to help the first wave of materialised souls
(called "things" by Cayce) are identical as well.
Those
interested in reading Edgar Cayce's version of the history of the
"Children of the Law of One" might find the following books of
some interest:

In
my opinion, the book "The Children of the Law of One" gives a
much clearer and more coherant explanation of the origin and divisions
between the Children of the Law of One and the Sons of Belial than one
encounters in the Edgar Cayce readings, which are often very difficult
to decipher and confusingly worded. But the two versions complement each
other beautifully.
Paul
Solomon in his psychic readings also mentions the division between the
"Children of the Law of One" and the "Sons of
Belial." But the only book available which contains a portion of
his readings is "The Prophetic Revelations of Paul Solomon,"
by W. Alexander Wheeler (Weiser Books). His work is unfortunately not as
well documented or as voluminous as Edgar Cayce's.
Interestingly,
Madame Blavatsky of the Theosophical Society, spent her entire career
and wrote several books (especially the "Secret Doctrine) all
seeking to identify the root of all religious systems from which she
believed all later religious movements sprang; That root ( which in the
final analysis, eluded her) is quite probably the teachings of the
Children of the Law of One. |
